Review Week 13

Repetition- This uses repetition because the element of the birds are repeating throughout the whole design.

Proportion/scale- This uses this element because the scale from the boy to the tree shows that the tree is much larger than it even appears.

.

Balance- This image shows balance because the contrast between black and white emphasizes the man om the water and certain other parts.

Emphasis- This image shows emphasis because it emphasizes the circle in the middle of the tree. The tree in the background is somewhat blurred out.

Unity- This image shows unity because all of the colors flow together and the image blends all of the elements into one.

Variety- This image shows variety because it makes the image different because of the two hand sizes.

Rhythm- This image shows rhythm because there is a repetitive feel to the way there are so many chairs and how they are showed going a long way away.

Contrast- This image shows contrast because of the dark image and then the guy on the side makes the image different.

How do you add a layer mask to a particular layer?
You can add a layer mask by taking the layer and putting it in the icon with a circle inside a square. That makes it so if you click on the paint brush, you can paint away the background of the image.
What two colors are used to create the mask?
The colors black and white are used to create the mask.
Describe the process of using a layer mask?

You have to add the second part to the layer and then you use the paint brush tool to make the background of the image go away.
